What we collect

• Story submissions: the category, your story, any lesson or community question you add, your publication preference and, only if you give it, your email address.
• PMO Paycheck responses: job title, salary (currency and amount), day rate if you are a contractor, country and optional broad region, industry, experience and the other answers you choose to give, plus an email address if you provide one. We do not ask for your town or city.
• Behind the RAG sign-ups: your first name, email address, optional role, which form you signed up through, and when you gave consent.
• Partnership enquiries: your name, work email, company and message.

We do not ask for your name on story or PMO Paycheck forms.

Why we collect it

To publish selected community stories, to produce anonymous, aggregated insight about PMO work and pay, to send Behind the RAG to people who have asked for it, and to reply to partnership enquiries.

Who can see your information

Submissions are stored in a secure database provided by our website platform. Website visitors cannot read, change or delete them: the database only lets signed-in accounts that we have specifically given administrator access view private records. Only published, edited stories are publicly visible.

How story submissions are used

We only consider publishing a story if you gave permission to publish anonymously, or after we have contacted you if you asked us to. Selected stories may be edited for clarity, length, grammar and anonymity without changing their meaning. Your email address is never published as part of your story, and we remove details that could identify you, colleagues or employers.

How PMO Paycheck responses are used

Individual responses are only accessible to our administrators. Anything we publish is aggregated, and we will not publish a breakdown based on fewer than a minimum number of responses (currently 10), so that small groups cannot be identified. Published figures describe our respondents, not the whole PMO profession. We only quote a response, anonymously, if you said we could.

Email addresses and marketing

Completing a story submission, PMO Paycheck or partnership enquiry does not sign you up to marketing emails. We only add you to Behind the RAG if you separately tick the opt-in box, and we record when and where you did so. Email addresses given for other reasons are only used for that reason, for example contacting you about your story.

Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe from Behind the RAG at any time by emailing hello@pmo-perspectives.com, and we will record your unsubscribe straight away. Once newsletter emails are being sent, each one will also include an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of, or to correct or delete, the information we hold about you. Because story and PMO Paycheck submissions can be anonymous, please include enough detail (such as the email address you used) for us to find your record.
